Soul Injury is a spectrum of penetrating wounds that occur during trauma, abuse, self-neglect, loss and serious illness. It is an overlooked, unassessed wound that subtly robs people of their vitality and separates them from their own sense of self. The intended audience for this event are: veterans; victims of sexual assault, crime, accidents, natural disasters, abuse, addiction, neglect, and burn-out; people who have experienced the loss of personal health or a loved one’s health, the death of a loved one, or betrayal by a significant other; families of the traumatized; personal and professional caregivers. The source of traumatic and insidious Soul Injury is unmourned loss and unforgiven guilt or shame. In this workshop you will learn how to: Connect with your pain and release it Grieve your unmourned losses Re-own the scattered pieces of yourself Forgive the guilt and shame you are carrying Create a safe haven to re-home the disconnected parts of yourself You will discover how soulfully wounded people can love, forgive, and trust themselves to navigate in the world again.
