Summer Solstice Ceremony Saturday, June 22, at 7:30 PM Leader: Rev. Thony Innocent
The Summer Solstice is a time of light and fire. It is a time to reflect upon the growth of the season, the seeds that are planted in the earth, and the seeds that our planted in our souls. At this highly spiritual time, we celebrate the light of consciousness within ourselves and reflect upon its potential for emerging. The progress of the sun throughout the year symbolizes the individual’s process of attaining enlightenment. The summer solstice is the climax of this journey. As the day of most light in the year, it symbolizes the ascension found in many of the world’s great spiritual traditions. It is a time to celebrate the masculine energy, the force of action, intention and motivation. We can now shed all that we have contemplated over the winter months and embrace a sense of freedom and lightness. At this time we open our hearts to the light and welcome the vibrancy of nature. The potent energy of the summer solstice may help you to get a clearer understanding of who you are, of what your purpose is, and what the next step may be for you. Please join us for this inspiring ceremony.
