Healing Ancestral Wounds Sunday, Feb. 9th , 12:30 PM With: Rev. John Drinkard
We carry within us the tears of our ancestors. We are personally affected by the wounds of our ancestors. Some say these wounds go back seven to fourteen generations. Trauma and loss create cellular memories that are transmitted to future generations. We have inherited these ancestral wounds and passed them along to our descendants. These deep, penetrating wounds are often characterized by internalized guilt and shame. They separate us from our true self, causing us to feel flawed, defective and less than whole. Join us as we apply ancient Shamanic practices to journey to our ancestors and bring these wounds into our consciousness. We will then employ modern day trauma resolution techniques of imagery, neuro-plasticity and somatic experiencing to grieve and release these trans-generational wounds. This is an extraordinary opportunity to heal your ancestral wounds.
